Healing trauma improves our confidence, boosts our energy and improves decision-making. But our trauma isn't always obvious. It certainly wasn't obvious to me when we recorded this episode even though I love doing shadow work. With the help of Wendy, LPCC-S, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I uncover ways to turn self-healing into a practice. Wendy presents a unique coaching model that she's written a book on, focusing on different parts within ourselves, such as fear-based and strength-based elements, that influence our behavior and decisions. She underscores the importance of recognizing, understanding, and conversing with these parts of ourselves to own our authentic personalities and handle internal conflicts effectively. The episode unfolds as an enlightening journey of self-awareness with exercises, including journaling, meditation, and self-reflection, to help you connect with your inner self.
